Kalyan Junction is a major railway station on the Central line of the Mumbai suburban railway network and is located in Thane district of Maharashtra, India. It is one of the busiest railway stations in Mumbai and sees the passage of numerous long-distance trains, suburban trains and freight trains. It serves as a junction point for trains going towards North India, South India, and East India. The station has 9 platforms and is equipped with modern facilities such as escalators, elevators, AC waiting rooms, digital information display boards, and food stalls. The station is also well-connected to other parts of Mumbai and Thane by buses and taxis.
